At 2013 Tripitaka Koreana Festival Tripitaka-the wisdom of 1000 years is being unveiled.

2013 Tripitaka Koreana Festival is co-hosted by Gyeongsangnam-do, Hapcheon-gun and Haeinsa.
Organized by Tripitaka Koreana Festival Organization Committee the festival will be held for 45 days between Sep. 27th and Nov. 10th in Gyeongsangnam-do area including Tripitaka Koreana Recorded Culture Theme Park and Haeinsa.
Rooted in patriotism and passion for art and elaborated by scientific innovation The iconic cultural heritage was born: The Tripitaka Koreana!

Tripitaka Koreana digital larchiveum will provide insights to internal understanding of the scripture and unlock the wisdom of the past the Tripitaka Koreana will come alive with picturesque image enabled by 5D digital technology that takes you to 360° graphic experience Byeonsangdo shows the story of Tripitaka Koreana and Buddha's life.

Special exhibition of the original Tripitaka will be presented to the public during the festival which will allow visitors to feel and experience the 1000 years of history
Diverse cultural experience such as engraving and wood cutting event will be available Haein art project and digital cultural experience with high technology will stimulate children's interest in culture
Tripitaka Odyssey and various performances will make your experience rich and unforgettable

In addition, Make-a-Wish Lamps event will be held hanging 81,258 lamps to match the number of Tripitaka plates
